Needless to say it was difficult emotionally and physically to make our house handicap accessible but Jan and Ewa tackled our job with empathy and an abundance of knowledge that helped our transition.
They were able to work with the OTs advice and find products best suited for our needs. Their prices were excellent but most of all their service is impeccable. Other companies had us waiting up to 3 weeks for a showerhead. Silver Cross had 2 Outside lifts installed within a couple of weeks.
We can’t say enough about Silver Cross!

I just wanted you to know how happy my wife Carol and I are with our Savaria Stairfriend Lift, since its installation in November 2018.
She uses it all the time, even carrying small items with her, and loves it! It has given both her and I the freedom to enjoy our house that we always had. When I am away I have peace of mind that she will not risk a fall on the stairs. We plan to stay here for the foreseeable future without any restrictions or concerns about mobility, either hers or mine.
One reason I am impressed with the lift is that there is no restriction to the use of the stairs normally, including moving bulky items up and down. With the parking stations away from the actual stairs, people do not have to avoid the chair when it is parked. Also the placement of the rails on the inner corners of the spiral treads means that walking up and down is totally normal, and unhindered.
Eva and John were wonderful. Suddenly we were moving my uncle to a new home within days, and we needed a lift chair – it was ordered efficiently – with lots of help knowing what would suit him best – and then, when it didn’t arrive in time for the movers to take it to his new home before the moving truck left – Eva & John arranged to deliver it to north GTA so he would have it that night in his new nursing home room. After a day of a lot of change for him, he set eyes on his new chair, sat in it and was delighted and fell asleep!!! Thank you for your wonderful wise, caring service – you went over and above!

These people are the best. Called them desperately for a hospital bed for an emergency. My wife would have had to spend an uncomfortable night in a chair but they came through short notice. Tech came after a long day to set up What company out there has that kind of commitment.

In December 2017 and January 2018, I ordered 3 chair lifts for our home and 3 walkers from Silver Cross in Oakville. The Silvercross representative, Ed Kochut was extremely knowledgeable and professional and did an excellent job in assisting my wife in obtaining and installing all of the equipment needed to assist her with her disability. He personally ensured all the equipment, including her new wheelchair, were set up to her satisfaction and returned a number of times to fine tune our set up as needs arose. I was completely satisfied with Silver Cross, their cost was less than any other place ,and I did search many, their service was excellent and they took wonderful care to make sure I could handle working them, I had two stair lifts put in. They are great looking and handle well. What a life saver. They also put bars on the walls of my tub, it is sure keeping me safe.
