Assembly should only be performed by qualified technicians through your local provider. However, when receiving the bed, you may unpack the bed to check for damage and to confirm you have received all the necessary components. The owner’s manual may have specific directions on how to do this properly and what you should find in each box. Always read the owner’s manual carefully.

Most healthcare beds disassemble easily into a few parts, and some even have tool-free disassembly. Please refer to your medical bed’s owner’s manual for further information.

How often do I need maintenance for my care bed?

Routinely check all components of the medical bed for damage and signs of wear and tear. The owner’s manual will tell you specifically what to check and look out for. If damage is found, please contact the dealer that it was purchased from or a local authorized dealer as soon as you can.

How do I clean my medical bed?

Most powder coated metal surfaces may be cleaned with a mild soap or detergent and warm water. Wipe dry immediately after washing and be careful not to get water in any of the electrical components. You may periodically raise and lower the head and feet sections to remove dust from the frame. Please refer to your owner’s manual for specific cleaning instructions.
